We've all heard the political banter about the "war on women" which can range from topics concerning women's healthcare to the perceived wage gap. No matter your position on such issues, the real war being waged on American women comes in the form of infringing on our ability to exercise our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
We need to accept the fact that women, for the most part, cannot effectively defend themselves against a male assailant. Often the bad guy is physically larger, stronger and more determined to make YOU his next victim. The only equalizer for a women and her chance of successfully escaping falling victim to a violent crime is her ability to safely and effectively possess a firearm for self-defense.
That's what I always thought. I was street-smart, aware of my surroundings, and exercised extreme care in avoiding areas I thought weren't considered "safe". And then it happened to me. Many would say that I'm lucky to have survived my ordeal but I don't believe in luck.
I believe in preparedness. I believe in having a safety plan when at home or on the road. I believe in exercising every tool at my disposal to protect myself and my family from harm. My passion and our company's mission is to teach these concepts to women (and men) to help them avoid falling victim to a criminal thug and becoming yet another statistic.
